Welcome to Your New Resolutions: Healthy Dinners Are on Their Way

Hi there.

Hey! Today marks the start of a new year, doesn’t it?

Happy 2016!

And you know what that means. Inevitably, along with the new year comes new lists of resolutions, 90% of which, I would imagine, have at least one promise pertaining to improved health habits.

Sometimes our resolutions are about an enhanced workout commitment.

And other times they’re about focusing on a healthier diet.

And that’s where this post comes in.

Not the consuming of all of the existing bad food in your home, but rather the creation of new, healthy fare.

If you were a reader at this time last year, you might remember that I introduced a series of healthy yet simple weekday meals.

Here’s a recap of what I posted then. Just click on the following links if you’re interested in expanding your healthy meal repertoire:

Jennifer Garner’s Shrimp and Orzo

Asian Crockpot Chicken

Greek Avgolemono Chicken and Orzo Soup

Salmon Steaks with a Honey Garlic Glaze

Turkey Chili with a Surprise

Crockpot Spinach and Artichoke Chicken

With the start of 2016, it’s now time to introduce more healthy weekday meals for your resolution fulfilling pleasure.

Be on the lookout for a healthy extravaganza coming your way soon!

Oh, and when the recipes come out, please SHARE, SHARE, SHARE!

I’m bound and determined to make 2016 the year of PonderMom!

  • You’re absolutely right, Becky, that in order to avoid delicious (wrong) foods, one needs to dispose of them and not orally. If they’re in my kitchen they’re subject to my very weak resistance. So…my shopping cart will be that much lighter from now on! Do you believe this? I’m not certain I do! But I’m going to try! YLM

About Me:

Hi! My name is Becky. I’m a mom, a wife, a friend, a writer, and a compulsive thinker. Don't invite me to a spa or to shop the day away, but rather, make me laugh, engage me in interesting conversation, play a game with me, or give me a cappuccino and homemade vanilla bean flan and I’m yours ‘til the cows come home.
